With 3 creative traders under one roof, for just one day! Come along and try pottery painting with The Crafty Bug Café, Fairy doors and egg hunt with Pallettech and baskets, brooch pins and pompom bows with yours truly!
Prices for pottery starting from £15.00 - paint on the day then The Bug will take your creations away for glazing and firing and they will be returned to Pallettech a few days later for you to collect.
Egg hunt with Pallettech is £5.00 but there are also lots of crafty kits in the shop ready for your skills.
Baskets are £15.00 each, brooch pins are £10.00 and pompom bows are £7.50, this is all in 'make it yourself' form and I will be on hand to show you how it's done!
SEW YOUR OWN VE DAY PARTY DECORATIONS
2 DAY SEWING PROJECTS - FRIDAY 18TH & SATURDAY 19TH APRIL
This is a session for anyone who wants to sew. If you have never used a machine before and would like to learn how or if you have some experience of sewing but want to do more, then this is the opportunity! I will be in the Bug for 2 whole days, with rolls of red, white & blue fabric and sewing machines ready. Don't worry we are not going to do fancy seams or complicated patterns or stitches, this is all very simple and will give you a basic intro to a sewing machine and a lovely project to take away. We have 2 full days to play. There are various projects you can try, prices range from £10 to £35 depending on what you want to make. You do need to book, I will need an idea of what project you would like to try and an estimate of the time you will be coming on which day. I just want to make sure I am able to give everyone the time they need so I will have to juggle a little. All are welcome. Food & drinks are available in the café but are not included in these projects.

This proved popular in 2024 so in 2025 I am going to run this again. We will make & decorate a bunting, theme and colours are yet to be decided! Bunting will be approx. 1 metre long, great above a fireplace, on a banister, on the wall or above a door. For those that can't attend the workshop but want bunting kits, these are available to buy in both shops and on the website.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THOSE ATTENDING & BOOKING WORKSHOPS
All of the samples shown are handmade by me to demonstrate what we will be making. Where ever possible I will provide the same fabrics as shown but sometimes I have to buy alternatives if a specific one has run out or discontinued. In the event I have to do that, the colour theme will remain the same so that an alternative blends with your projects seamlessly.
I am happy to change and make alterations to bookings up to the advertised cut off dates. However once the cut off date passes I will be unable to issue refunds. This is because materials are cut and sourced and preparation time is given to accommodate the number of people coming and can't always be used for something else. You are welcome to find someone to take your place if you are suddenly unable to attend.
I always do my utmost to ensure I am available for all the dates advertised and have everything we need to work. To date, I haven't missed any. However if any rare circumstance should arise and I do have to cancel any workshops you will be given a refund if you have paid in advance. In the rare event I have to reschedule I will do my best to accommodate suitable alternate dates.
Very occasionally a supplier will fail to deliver materials or not be able to supply for a number of reasons. I will do my best to source alternatives but if I am unable to locate a suitable alternate it may be necessary to change the project. In any event, I will contact you, so please be sure to leave me your contact information.
Everyone works at a different speed so sometimes you may not complete your project in the given time, please don't worry. Whenever more time is needed I will do my best to make sure we fit in extra time for you to complete your projects.
