This maybe a small space but it is packed full of personality. There is always a warm welcome and we love being part of the local community.

Each and everyone of these beautiful candles is hand made, specially scented and beautifully packaged. Jenni absolutely knows how to make a scented candle and I am sure you will not be disappointed. With a range of melts and burners also available in store. Fancy making your own melts? No problem! Jenni is on hand to run sessions showing you how.

MIA'S STORY
We never imagined we’d be writing something like this. But here we are. Our beautiful little girl, Mia, has been diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), a rare and life-limiting genetic condition. At just 4 months, she’s already facing challenges no child should have to endure. As parents, it’s devastating — but we are determined to give her every possible chance to live a full and happy life.
Thanks to early testing, Mia’s diagnosis came quickly, but sadly the first signs of the disease were already there. We noticed subtle changes in her movements and strength, and after pushing for answers, our worst fears were confirmed.
Mia has already begun treatment to slow the progression of this disease(Everysdi at 7 weeks, Zolgesma at 10 weeks), but this is only the start of a lifelong journey. To give Mia the very best chance at a full and independent life, she will need:
Specialist physiotherapy (weekly sessions at £80-110 / $100-140 each)
Regular hydrotherapy sessions to strengthen her muscles
Adaptive equipment and home modifications (chairs, braces, mobility aids)
Intensive therapy programs several times a year (around £4,000 / $5,000 each time)
Travel costs to and from specialist centres
All of these come at a huge cost that is far beyond what we can manage alone.
Our greatest hope is to see Mia grow strong and thrive — to watch her take her first independent steps, ride a bike with her brother, run across the park, and enjoy all the little milestones that most families take for granted. With the right therapies, equipment, and support, we truly believe Mia can reach her full potential.
We are asking for your help to make this possible. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards Mia’s treatments, therapies, and equipment to give her the best chance at living a healthy, independent life.
Our family also includes our wonderful six-year-old, and our deepest hope is that both of our children can grow up living full, joyful lives. We want them to be free to follow their passions—to take classes, enjoy little treats, and go on family adventures—without money ever standing in their way. More than anything, we long to give them a normal, happy childhood, unshadowed by the financial strain that SMA could place on their opportunities.
